All citizens are reminded that your voting place/location is dependent upon where you actually reside. Although many people may have the Village of Denmark as their mailing address not everyone actually lives within the corporate boundary limits of the Village. The Village is surrounded by the Township of New Denmark and town residents cannot vote at the Denmark Village Hall. If someone is unsure of where you should vote please contact Village Hall at 863-6400. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on election days.
Citizens must register before they can vote in the Village of Denmark. This can be done prior to the election day at Village Hall or on election day itself at the polls. In order to register it is necessary to have one (1) form of identification (driver's license, checkbook, utility bill, etc.) which indicates your current Village of Denmark address. In order to both register and vote you must have resided in the Village of Denmark for at least twenty-eight (28) days prior to the election. Online registration is now available at myvote.wi.gov
If you will be away from the Village on election day you may vote by absentee ballot. For additional information on elections, please contact the Village Clerk/Treasurer at 863-6400.
