New Village Business Park
I-43 Business Campus
Project Location: The new I-43 business park consists of 33 acres. The area is directly east of Interstate Hwy 43 and south of Hwy 96 in the Village of Denmark. Sewer, water and utilities will be available at the site by April/May 2012.
On December 6, 2010 the Village Board adopted a resolution establishing land prices within the new business park at $50,000 per acre. They also provided a discounted price for businesses that will create jobs or will increase property value.
Purchasers can obtain a discount of $10,000 per every $200,000.00 of taxable value they add to the Village tax base.
Purchasers can also obtain a discount of $10,000 per acre for each ten new full-time jobs created within 24 months of purchasing property within the new business park.
Other sites:
- Thirty acres of land. Privately owned. Both sewer and water are available at the curb. Property highly visible along I-43, located on Green Bay Rd. and Copenhagen Rd. One of the last interchanges available for development in Brown County. Natural gas and electricity at site. Could sell land and new construction as package.
- Sixteen acre site. This land is located at 5856 County Road R. The site features an existing two-truck business with several buildings, plus open buildable acreage. Located on the northeast side of the Village. (Piontek property)
- Thirty four acre vacant land. Located on the intersection of North Avenue Road and County R on the north side of the Village. The owner would prefer to see the land developed as a combination of residential development with a portion of the property along County Hwy R developed a commercial. (Wood property)
Talented Work Force
Thirty eight percent of the adult population in the Denmark trade area have continued their education beyond high school at nearby U.W. Green Bay or at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Given the Village's geographic location, we're able to draw on a talented labor pool all the way from Oshkosh, Manitowoc to Green Bay. That's a great advantage to a business to double or triple the amount of qualified people that they can draw from.
